If you're a fan of white water sports and sensations, hurry up on the Doron de Bozel, the "shooter" of the rafting of the Northern Alps !
We propose you to combine 2 descents on this short and intense course (2 x 4 km) where the navigation is relentlessly, the waves and the rolls comes one after others.
The Doron de Bozel is a tributary of the Isere : it makes the difference from its big sister by its bubbling character, which makes it a prominent place for the practice of rafting in Northern Alps.
Meeting at our base in Centron the Tarentaise valley in Savoy for 32hours of intense activities. Located at 45 min from Chambery, 1h from Grenoble, 1h15 from Annecy.
Niveau requis
Sporty public, having already practiced the RAFTING activity and wishing to sail on a course of classe IV/V. Prior experience recommended to take full advantage of the propose course.Matériel nécessaire

Le déroulé
After meeting at our white-water base to retrieve the material, we left the Valley of the Tarentaise to go up the Doron de Bozel to go to Bride-Les-Bains, the start of the descent. Quick look to the river, quick check of the river level and we rapidly realize that the Doron de Bozel is a river with character! You should be attentive during the briefing, because once on the water, it goes straight as a "flipper ball"!!
First falls just 50 meters after the departure, then rolls, waves, some rolls again, with the guide yelling his instructions as background sound. Everything goes in a disorderly way during the first 500 meters which pass in a flash. Then comes the first stop, we breathe, we review the technique, and there we go again! And there is no end to it, the waves slams, we refine the technique and the safety instructions (with a sporty swimming exercise!) and this is already the arrival! 1 hour of sailing which seemed to be only 20 minutes!
But as we are eager and we love it, we go back to the start for a last "run" efficient. Everyone knows his role know, settled in the raft, we will not miss a thing! We step on it break the waves, surf on the rolls, keep the lines and finish... arms drained but happy of this moment shared!
Matériel fourni
For your comfort, we equip you from head to food with quality material :
- Raft AVON (max 6 pers/boat)
- Long-john neoprene HIKO (5mm)
- Jacket neoprene HIKO (3mm)
- Neoprene boots (5mm)
- Vest and helmet to CE standarts.
And when the weather is a little chilly, we add a few more layers :
- Neoprene top (2mm)
- Neoprene socks (3mm)
